You have the right to receive information about your stored data, its origin, recipients and the purpose of processing at any time. You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. Simply contact us via the contact form.
Our website is operated by a Swiss hosting provider. Parts of our services (for example the delivery of our analysis pages and technical files) run on the infrastructure of Cloudflare, Inc. (USA), which acts as a security and delivery network. Cloudflare processes technically necessary connection data (such as your IP address) based on our legitimate interest in secure and fast operations (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). A data processing agreement is in place with Cloudflare; transfers to the USA are safeguarded by the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.
When you visit the website, the server automatically records log data: browser type and version, operating system, referrer URL, host name, time of the request and IP address. This data serves technical security and is not merged with other data sources.
This website uses SSL/TLS encryption throughout.
We use cookies and comparable technologies. Technically necessary cookies keep the website running. Statistics and marketing technologies (see sections 8 and 9) are used based on your consent or our legitimate interest. You can restrict or delete cookies in your browser at any time.
If you contact us via a contact form, by e-mail or via WhatsApp, we store your details to process your request and for follow-up questions. WhatsApp is a service of Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd.; its privacy policy additionally applies to communication via WhatsApp. The legal bases are the initiation of a contract (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR) and our legitimate interest in efficient communication ((f)).
On some pages we offer our Program Finder or program comparison. There we ask for details about your family constellation (for example the number, relationship, age or dates of birth of the persons), your budget, goals, timeline and preferred investment route, as well as your contact details (name, e-mail address, phone number).
We use this data:
- to create your personal program analysis, which we send you by e-mail as a password-protected link. The link is valid for 90 days and can no longer be accessed afterwards. The analysis itself contains no contact details and is personalized with your first name only;
- to review your request professionally (for example eligibility and program rules) and to prepare cost breakdowns if you request them;
- for further contact by our team, by e-mail, phone or WhatsApp;
- for our ongoing communication: if you use the Finder or our forms, we add you to our e-mail communication and send you information, insights and offers around international structures, citizenship and residency programs (newsletter). You can unsubscribe at any time via the unsubscribe link in every e-mail.
The legal bases are the initiation of a contract (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR), your consent ((a)) and our legitimate interest in supporting prospective clients ((f)).
For technical processing we transfer form data via the automation service Zapier Inc. (USA) into our self-operated e-mail system Mautic, which runs on servers in the European Union. A data processing agreement is in place with Zapier; transfers to the USA are safeguarded by the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
Our forms are protected against automated access (bots) by Cloudflare Turnstile. Turnstile uses technical signals (for example browser information and interaction behavior) to check whether a request comes from a human. The provider is Cloudflare, Inc. (USA). The legal basis is our legitimate interest in protecting our systems from abuse (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR).
Google Analytics 4: We use Google Analytics 4 by Google Ireland Ltd. to statistically analyze the use of our website (for example page views, visitor origin, devices used). Google processes IP addresses in truncated form. This data helps us improve our content. Transfers to the USA are based on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.
Our own anonymous statistics: In addition, we count certain events on our own servers (for example how many visitors open and start our Finder). This counting works without cookies and contains no personal data.
Google Ads conversion tracking: We run ads via Google Ads and use the conversion tracking of Google Ireland Ltd. to measure whether visitors complete certain actions after clicking an ad (for example finishing our Finder).
Enhanced Conversions: When you submit our analysis form, we transmit your e-mail address to Google in encrypted (hashed) form to improve the measurement of our advertising. Google cannot read this data in plain text. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in accurate advertising measurement (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR) or your consent.
Meta pixel and Custom Audiences: We use the pixel of Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. to measure the effectiveness of our advertising on Meta platforms (Facebook, Instagram) and to show visitors of our website suitable ads there. Data may be transferred to Meta in the USA; this is based on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. You can object in the ad settings of your Meta account.
For our e-mail communication we use the software Mautic, which we operate ourselves on servers in the European Union. We store your e-mail address, name, the origin of your sign-up and interaction data (for example opens and clicks via a tracking pixel, device used and approximate location). This data helps us send you relevant content. You can unsubscribe at any time via the unsubscribe link in every e-mail; your data will then be blocked for sending.
We process customer and contract data to establish and perform our contractual relationships (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR). For paid offers, payment processing is handled by external payment providers; payment data is processed there in encrypted form and is not stored by us. Statutory retention obligations remain unaffected.
For booking consultation appointments we use the service youcanbook.me. The data you enter (name, e-mail address, chosen slot) is processed to organize the appointment. Details: https://youcanbook.me/privacy
Our pages embed content and functions from third-party providers. When you open a page with such content, data (such as your IP address) is technically transmitted to the respective provider; its privacy policy additionally applies. Akismet anti-spam: Comments may be checked for spam by the Akismet service (Automattic Inc., USA). Among other things, the IP address and comment content are transmitted to Akismet. Details: https://automattic.com/privacy/
If you comment on our website, we store your comment, the time, your chosen name and e-mail address; the IP address is stored for security reasons (protection against unlawful content). If you subscribe to follow-up comments, you receive a confirmation e-mail; you can cancel the subscription at any time. If you register for protected areas (for example the Club), we use the data you provide to deliver the respective offer.
Earlier newsletter sign-ups were handled via the service Mailchimp (Intuit Inc., USA). To the extent data is still stored there, Mailchimp’s privacy policy applies; our active e-mail communication today runs via our self-operated system (see section 10). You can unsubscribe at any time via the unsubscribe link.
We use carefully selected service providers that process data on our behalf (in particular hosting, Cloudflare, Zapier, Google, Meta). Data processing agreements are in place with all processors. Transfers to third countries only take place on the basis of suitable safeguards (EU Standard Contractual Clauses, EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework).
We store personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described or as required by statutory retention obligations. Delivered analysis links expire automatically after 90 days. On request we delete your data unless retention obligations prevent this; simply contact us via the contact form.
We object to the use of our published contact details for sending unsolicited advertising. Likewise, you can object to any advertising use of your data at any time.
