Terms of Use
These terms apply to goodbyematrix.com, our calculators, the climate map and the pricing API. Last updated: 18 October 2026.
1. Provider and scope
These terms govern the use of the website goodbyematrix.com and all its subpages, the calculators and comparisons, the climate map, and the pricing API and MCP server at ai.goodbyematrix.com.
The provider is Goodbye Matrix International LLC, Harkle RD STE 100, Santa Fe, NM 87505, USA ("GoodbyeMatrix"). Depending on the service, billing may be handled by other companies of the GoodbyeMatrix group, including Prometheus International LLC, New Mexico, USA. The imprint applies in addition.
For paid products, memberships and advisory services, the terms shown to you at purchase or contract conclusion also apply. Where they conflict with these terms, they take precedence.
2. What the website provides
The content on goodbyematrix.com is general information about second citizenship, residency programmes, relocation and related topics.
It is not legal, tax or investment advice and does not replace an individual review of your situation. Before you act, consult a legal or tax adviser who knows your personal circumstances. Our disclaimer applies in addition.
3. Indicative figures and costs
Calculators, comparisons, the pricing API and the MCP server provide indicative figures based on the programme rules known at the time. Totals are rounded.
An indicative figure is not an offer and not a confirmation that a programme is open to you or your family. Costs become binding only after a pre-check and a personal cost breakdown by GoodbyeMatrix. Government fees and programme rules can change at any time.
4. AI interface: API, MCP server, index and glossary
GoodbyeMatrix provides the AI interface (pricing API, MCP server, residency and passport index, glossary) free of charge and without sign-in, so that AI assistants and developers can retrieve our indicative figures and program data. The documentation is at https://goodbyematrix.com/en/pricing-api/.
You may use it to answer users’ questions: indicative figures, program data, terms and the supplied links. When you reproduce our data, name GoodbyeMatrix as the source, link to the respective program or glossary page and keep the supplied links unchanged. Being named as a source in AI answers is expressly welcome.
You may not:
- extract data in bulk or systematically in order to rebuild or permanently store program, price or glossary data,
- circumvent the rate limits, for example by rotating addresses,
- resell the data or build it into your own paid services or databases without written consent,
- remove the source attribution or the supplied links,
- present the data in a way that suggests a binding commitment or legal advice from GoodbyeMatrix.
Rate limits apply. GoodbyeMatrix may block access in case of misuse and may change, restrict or discontinue the interface at any time. There is no entitlement to availability.
5. Acceptable use of the website
You may use the website for your own information. You may not disrupt or overload the website or its forms, or misuse them for other purposes. This includes large-scale automated extraction, entering other people's details without their knowledge, and security testing without our written permission.
If you find a security issue, please write to [email protected].
6. Copyright and trademarks
Texts, graphics, maps, calculators and software on this website are protected by copyright. Reproduction, adaptation and distribution beyond what the law permits require our written consent. "GoodbyeMatrix" is our trademark. Section 4 remains unaffected.
7. Links to other websites
The website contains links to third-party offers. Their providers alone are responsible for their content.
8. Liability
8.1 No advice. Website content, calculator results and data provided through the pricing API and MCP server are general information and non-binding estimates. They are not legal, tax, investment or immigration advice and do not replace an individual assessment. Only the current requirements of the competent authorities and programmes are authoritative. Fees, processing times and requirements may change at any time.
8.2 Unlimited liability. GoodbyeMatrix is liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, under mandatory product liability law, and to the extent of any guarantee given.
8.3 Free services. For content and services provided free of charge (website, calculators, pricing API, MCP server), GoodbyeMatrix is liable only for intent and gross negligence, subject to 8.2.
8.4 Business users and users in the United States. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, and except as stated in 8.2, the services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and accuracy. Total liability is limited to the greater of the amounts you paid GoodbyeMatrix in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim or USD 100. GoodbyeMatrix is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special or punitive damages or lost profits. Any claim must be brought within one year after it arises, unless applicable law requires a longer period. Business users indemnify GoodbyeMatrix against third-party claims arising from their use of API data in breach of these terms. This section 8.4 does not apply to consumers in the EU, EEA, Switzerland or the United Kingdom.
8.5 Redistribution via AI assistants. Anyone who passes data from the pricing API or MCP server on to third parties, in particular via AI assistants, includes the notice in 8.1 and names GoodbyeMatrix as the source.
9. Privacy
How we process personal data is described in our privacy policy: https://goodbyematrix.com/en/privacy-policy/
10. Changes
GoodbyeMatrix may amend these terms. The version published on this page at the time of your use applies.
11. Governing law and jurisdiction
11.1 Consumers in the EU, EEA, Switzerland and the United Kingdom. For consumers habitually resident in these countries, the law of the country of their habitual residence applies. Sections 11.2 and 11.3 do not apply to these consumers.
11.2 Consumers in the United States. For consumers residing in the United States, these terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Mexico, and the arbitration agreement by the Federal Arbitration Act. Before arbitration is commenced, the parties shall seek an amicable resolution for 60 days. Disputes are resolved by individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, by video or in the consumer's county on request. GoodbyeMatrix pays the fees allocated to businesses. Where 25 or more similar demands are filed, the AAA Mass Arbitration Supplementary Rules apply.
- Class, collective and representative actions and jury trials are excluded.
- Small claims court proceedings and injunctive relief to protect intellectual property remain available.
- The arbitration agreement may be opted out of within 30 days of first acceptance by email to [email protected]. The remaining terms continue to apply.
- If the class action waiver is unenforceable as to any claim, the courts located in Santa Fe County, New Mexico, have jurisdiction over that claim.
11.3 Consumers in other countries. The laws of the State of New Mexico, USA, apply. Mandatory consumer protection rules of the country of habitual residence remain unaffected to the extent they provide greater protection. Jurisdiction lies with the courts of Santa Fe County, New Mexico, unless another forum is mandatory.
11.4 Businesses. For business users, Swiss law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG) and the conflict-of-laws rules of the Swiss Private International Law Act.
- For business users based in a contracting state of the Lugano Convention or of the 2005 Hague Convention on Choice of Court Agreements, the courts of Zurich, Switzerland, have exclusive jurisdiction.
- For business users based in other countries, disputes are resolved by arbitration under the rules of the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC), with a sole arbitrator, seated in Singapore, in English.
- Interim relief may be sought before any competent court.
11.5 Mandatory law. Mandatory statutory rights remain unaffected by this section.
