What makes this program stand out

Estonia offers a Digital Nomad Visa program targeting remote workers and digital nomads. The program enables location-independent professionals to reside legally in Estonia while working for employers or clients based outside the country.

Qualification is based on demonstrating sufficient income. Applicants must show monthly earnings of at least EUR 4,500. This threshold establishes that the remote work or business activity generates stable financial support during the stay in Estonia.

The visa is designed for individuals whose professional activity is performed digitally and independently of a fixed geographic location. It provides legal residency status for remote workers who do not require employment within Estonia itself.

What level of income you need to show

The monthly income requirement is EUR 4,500. You must demonstrate this level of consistent earnings to qualify for the Estonia Digital Nomad Visa.

Income must derive from remote work or self-employment outside Estonia. Qualifying sources include freelance services, online business operations, and employment with foreign employers. Income earned through Estonian entities or from local Estonian sources does not satisfy this requirement.

You must provide proof of income through recent bank statements, contracts with clients or employers, or accounting records. Documentation should cover the preceding three months and clearly demonstrate regular deposits meeting the EUR 4,500 monthly threshold. Income must be consistent and verifiable, sporadic or one-time payments do not qualify.

Find out which combination of residency, citizenship & structure actually fits your life

Most people live where they were born. Not where it makes strategic sense. They choose a country. Sovereign individuals build a setup.

A strong international setup considers:

  • tax systems
  • mobility
  • optionality
  • long-term security
  • a Plan B citizenship

Not just a visa.

In the strategy call, we evaluate which residency programs make strategic sense - and which ones could limit you long-term, create unnecessary obligations, or lead to avoidable tax exposure.

Build an international setup that gives you options - not dependencies.
