Non-binding Quote
& Initial Information
The first step begins with your free, non-binding request for a detailed cost breakdown, using the cost calculator further up on this page. You provide initial details regarding your family structure, the number of applicants, and your objectives.
More Details
Based on this information, we prepare a transparent cost estimate that takes into account all relevant fees, government charges, and available investment options.
Objective: To give you a clear overview of the total costs and the overall structure of the process - before you decide whether to proceed with a collaboration.
2. Personal initial assessment
& collaboration with GoodbyeMatrix
After reviewing the quote, you may raise further questions, and we jointly analyze your objectives, family situation, and individual requirements. Based on this, we assess whether the St. Kitts and Nevis Citizenship by Investment program strategically fits your international setup - legally, fiscally, and personally.
More Details
Once a suitable solution has been identified and you decide to proceed with a personal engagement with GoodbyeMatrix, we conduct a structured preliminary due diligence. This allows us to identify potential risks at an early stage (for example, from a compliance perspective) and to clearly inform you about opportunities, feasibility, and any possible limitations.
Only upon a positive outcome do you receive formal confirmation to proceed, at which point we officially initiate the application process.
Your advantage: You move forward well prepared and safeguarded - without unnecessary time or cost expenditure.
3. Client onboarding & document preparation
Following a successful preliminary review, you are formally onboarded as a client. The initial fee (from USD 10,000) is paid, and our engagement officially begins.
More Details
Together with you and, where applicable, we compile all required documentation - from identity records and asset documentation to affidavits.
Our experts handle the complete application preparation, including translations, notarizations, and consistency checks. Once the dossier is complete, we formally submit your application to the competent authority in St. Kitts and Nevis.
Your advantage: You benefit from a carefully prepared application package designed to ensure efficient processing by the authorities, while we handle the administrative workload on your behalf.
4. Application submission & payment of government fees
Following final review, your application is formally submitted to the Government of St. Kitts and Nevis. This marks the start of the official processing by the Citizenship by Investment Unit (CIU).
More Details
At this stage, the second service fee becomes due, along with the applicable government fees, including due diligence fees and processing charges. We ensure that all payments are executed accurately and within the required timeframes.
While the authorities review your application, we actively manage the process, respond to any inquiries from the CIU, and keep you informed of all progress.
Upon successful completion of the due diligence review, you receive official government pre-approval.
Your advantage: You can proceed with confidence to the next step - fulfilling the investment requirement, such as making the contribution to the SISC fund or PBO, or acquiring an approved Real Estate Investment.
5. Investment, naturalization & passport issuance
Following receipt of official government approval, the final investment is made - either through the non-refundable contribution to the Sustainable Island State Contribution (SISC) fund / PBO, or through an investment in an approved Real Estate Project.
More Details
Once the investment has been confirmed, the certificate of naturalization is issued and you officially become a citizen of St. Kitts and Nevis.
Within a few weeks of naturalization, your passport is issued and securely delivered - either in person or, upon request, via secure courier.

For applicants aged 16 and over, the passport is valid for 10 years. For children under 16, the passport is valid for 5 years, after which renewal is required.
What makes the St. Kitts & Nevis passport unique?
St. Kitts & Nevis operates the world’s oldest and most established Citizenship by Investment program (since 1984). The passport offers one of the broadest visa-free travel ranges among Caribbean passports and allows unrestricted dual and multiple citizenship. Citizenship is also heritable and can be passed on to future generations.
Can I apply directly with the government?
No. The government does not accept direct applications. All applications must be submitted through an authorized and accredited agent. We manage the entire application process on your behalf - efficiently, in full compliance with regulations, and with personal guidance throughout.
Is the application form available online?
No. The official application form can only be submitted through registered agents to the Citizenship by Investment Unit (CIU).
Can family members be added to the citizenship after approval?
Yes. Under certain conditions, St. Kitts & Nevis allows the post-approval addition of eligible dependants through the so-called Post-Citizenship Addition procedure. These applications are processed exclusively through the Citizenship by Investment Unit (CIU).
Who can be added after citizenship has been granted?
A new spouse married after the main applicant’s naturalization
A newborn child (under 3 years of age) born after issuance of the main applicant’s naturalization
A child aged 3 or older born after the main applicant’s naturalization
A parent who reaches the minimum age for dependent parents (currently 55 years) after the main applicant’s naturalization
What fees apply?
USD 30,000 for the addition of a spouse or another qualified dependant
USD 7,500 for the addition of a newborn child under 3 years of age
In addition: standard government fees for processing, due diligence, banking checks, the certificate of naturalization, and passport issuance
Important note:
Dependants who were already eligible at the time of the original application but were not included cannot be added later through the post-citizenship procedure. In such cases, a new application is required and may be subject to full due diligence screening.
Does the CIU accept cryptocurrencies as a source of funds?
Yes. The Citizenship by Investment Unit (CIU) now accepts cryptocurrencies as a partial source of funds. Please note that applicants must also provide additional proof of wealth from non-cryptocurrency sources. Furthermore, additional due diligence fees apply when cryptocurrencies are used as part of the funding structure.
How can I apply for a name change after naturalization?
The Citizenship by Investment Unit (CIU) no longer processes name changes on the Certificate of Registration.
Name changes can only be carried out in connection with a passport renewal. The application must be submitted directly to the Passport Office of St. Kitts & Nevis, and all relevant supporting documents, such as a court order or a marriage certificate, must be provided.
Please note that all previous names will be listed on the “Observation Page” of the newly issued passport.
Are there excluded nationalities in the CBI program?
Yes. For reasons of national security and public order, St. Kitts & Nevis currently does not accept applications from individuals who are citizens of the following countries, regardless of their place of residence or any additional citizenships they may hold:
Afghanistan
Belarus
Iran
Iraq
North Korea
Russia
Cuba
The restriction applies not only to current citizenship but also to being born in one of these countries. Each case is assessed individually.
Note: This policy is subject to change. If you hold or have previously held any of these citizenships, please contact us for an individual assessment of your situation.
Can I hold multiple citizenships in addition to St. Kitts and Nevis?
Under the Constitution of St. Kitts and Nevis (1983), dual and multiple citizenship is fully permitted. You may retain all existing nationalities - there are no restrictions on multiple citizenship.
Important: You must also review the legal regulations of your country of origin:
Germany: Multiple citizenship is fully permitted.
Switzerland: Multiple citizenship is fully permitted.
Austria: A retention permit is required. Without this permit, Austrian citizenship is automatically lost upon acquiring a new nationality.
France: Multiple citizenship is fully permitted.
United States: Multiple citizenship is permitted. The U.S. does not require renunciation of existing citizenships, although U.S. citizens must continue to meet all U.S. tax and reporting obligations.
Canada: Multiple citizenship is fully permitted without restrictions.
Nigeria: Dual citizenship is permitted, provided the individual is Nigerian by birth.
China: Dual citizenship is not permitted. Acquiring a foreign citizenship generally results in the automatic loss of Chinese nationality.
Can I pass the citizenship on to my children and future generations?
Yes. Citizenship of St. Kitts and Nevis is heritable without restrictions. It can be passed on to your children and future generations, making it a genuine long-term strategic advantage for internationally oriented families.
Do I need to travel to St. Kitts and Nevis in person to obtain citizenship and a passport?
No. The entire process is handled 100% digitally and remotely with our support. You are not required to be physically present to obtain citizenship, nor to have the passport issued. This makes the program particularly suitable for internationally active investors or for those who prefer not to travel to the Caribbean.
