The Belize Digital Nomad Visa is a temporary residency permit designed for remote workers who earn their income from employers or clients outside Belize. The program allows you to live and work remotely in Belize for an initial period of 6 months. This visa does not offer renewal or re-application options. Once the 6-month period expires, your legal stay under this visa ends.

Qualification is based on a single income threshold. Applicants must demonstrate an annual income of US$75,000. This requirement establishes that you are financially self-sufficient and earning from sources outside Belize. The program does not require you to obtain local employment or establish a Belizean business entity. Your income must originate from remote work arrangements with foreign employers or clients.

The visa grants you the right to reside in Belize while conducting your remote work activities. It does not provide a pathway to permanent residency or citizenship. The 6-month validity period is fixed. There is no mechanism to extend your stay under this visa category beyond the initial term.

You must demonstrate US$75,000 annual income. This breaks down to approximately US$6,250 monthly, which you need to verify continuously.
